Set-up:
Arrange cones 13m apart with one player at each cone and one in the middle. Player 1 starts with a ball.
Description:
On the whistle Player 3 runs around cone A, player 1 throws the ball to the ground 4/5 yards in front and 3 runs on to it, picks it and handpasses to 2. 3 runs around player 2 at cone B who again throws the ball in front for 3 to pick up and so on for 60 seconds (or a set number of repetitions) when the players change.
Player 2 and 3 go in turn. Repeat 3/4 times.
Notes:
- Encourage players to run in a figure of eight pattern so that they are pushing off each leg.
- Have the runner touch the ground behind each player before they push off from the turn.
